Accessibility At The Festival

Anyone with the blue disabled parking permit can park in the closest parking area of the festival. The $10 parking fee is waved.

The festival grounds predominantly consist of hard-packed terrain, which has accommodated numerous visitors in wheelchairs without hindrance to their mobility throughout the years. We prioritize accessibility enhancements to ensure everyone can fully participate in the festivities.

However, it’s important to note that the rear section of the site, where some vendors are located, features softer soil with patches of sand, posing potential challenges for those using wheelchairs or wheeled walkers. We try our best to rake up the many pieces of bark that peel off of the sycamore trees. Many places at the festival should be easy to navigate.

Despite this, there are ample seating options available throughout the venue, including hay bales and a shaded picnic area. Additionally, we’ve set up straw bale seating in front of the arena, allowing spectators to comfortably enjoy the battles and entertainment unfolding before them.

It can get hot, windy, or cool, so be prepared for anything. An umbrella or parasol might come in handy. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat! There is a free water station.
