There’s never a dull moment at the faire! With performances, demonstrations, and spectacles happening all day long, a little planning goes a long way. Check the schedule below and make the most of your adventure.
Schedules are subject to change.
Across six vibrant stages scattered throughout the grounds, an endlessly entertaining lineup awaits. From hilarious comedians to spellbinding dance troupes, bardic minstrels and live music to mesmerizing magic and the astounding 3 Falconeers — whose mighty falcons soar just overhead in a breathtaking free-flight show — there is something to delight every member of the realm.
Twice daily, thunderous cheers rise from the tournament arena as the crown jewel of festivities takes the field: the full-contact armored Knight Fight. Watch brave knights locked in ferocious combat, swords clanging against shields in an epic battle for honor.
At the Eastern Star Stage, colorful and exotic belly dancing unfolds throughout the day, while the Puppet Stage brings traditional puppet shows to life four times daily.
But the magic doesn’t stop at the stages — throughout the festival village, you’ll find parades winding through the streets, spirited dances, rousing live music, and dramatic plays bringing the golden age of Elizabeth’s England to life at every turn. And be sure not to miss Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, and her Royal Court as they grace the grounds throughout the day.
The little ones have adventures all their own! Each day, the children’s costume contest invites young festivalgoers to show off their finest attire — and every child who enters takes home a souvenir to remember the day. Claire-Michael and Friends: Kids’ Corner will delight them with music, song and stories on the Buccaneer Stage both days at 12:00 AND 2:00. On Sunday, the excitement grows with a pirate treasure hunt that’s sure to capture every young adventurer’s imagination.
Check the stage schedule early and pick two or three performances you don’t want to miss. The armored combat battles at noon and 3:00 PM draw the biggest crowds, so stake out your spot near the arena a few minutes early.
Indulge in the food. Seriously. From savory meat pies to roasted turkey legs to fresh-baked sweets, the fare here is part of the experience. Find a shady spot, eat something you’ve never tried before, and take a moment to soak it all in.
Most importantly, lean into it. Talk to the performers. Try on a costume. Let the kids get wonderfully, completely lost in the magic of it. The modern world will still be there tonight.
