The Motel 6 in San Luis Obispo is also close and among the least expensive lodgings in the city.
Many participants and vendors prefer to camp.
Here are some local campgrounds. You may choose to camp at El Chorro Regional Park, just a 10 minute drive away. They have hookups, hot showers and flush toilets. They can get quite busy on summer weekends. You can make camping reservations at El Chorro Regional Park by calling (805) 781-5930, x4.
