13. Tell Me About The Weather

Laguna Lake Park lies within the Los Osos Valley. Cool ocean breezes may happen, or more likely it will be warm. We advise you to wear sunscreen and a hat. An umbrella or parasol may come in handy if it is very warm. We do have many shade covers and the trees provide nice shade. You should wear sunscreen and a hat.

14. What if the name on my ticket isn’t who is using it.

That won’t matter. We scan the ticket but do not look at your I.D.

15. What About Alcohol And Drugs

No one under the age of 21 may drink on the premises. Underage drinking is not tolerated. Underage drinking and substance abuse jeopardize the very existence of the Central Coast Renaissance Festival. Minors found drinking alcohol or using drugs will have their wristbands confiscated and will be removed from the festival without a refund. Anyone found using illegal drugs or smoking will be removed.

You may not bring alcohol to the festival. Don’t worry, we have plenty if you are of legal age to enjoy it.

16. What About Accessibility

The festival site is not paved but is mostly hard-packed ground. There are some tree roots in places and a few sandy spots. We have seen many guests in wheelchairs and using walkers without problems. It can get hot out there so we advise wearing a hat, sunscreen and maybe bringing a parasol for sun shade.

17. Can I Smoke At The Festival

Nope. County park rules. No smoking of anything is allowed. If you just have to smoke, please do it in your vehicle and do not put the butt, roach, ashes, or anything hot outside your car. We appreciate your cooperation.

18. Security At The Festival

The world has changed. When you enter a festival or concert today you can expect to pass through security. They’re looking for illegal substances. Unfortunately, we have to do that too. If you want to bring personal items in a backpack or bag, you’ll go through security faster with a clear bag. We have a blog post about that here.
