Central Coast Renaissance Festival Marks 40th Year with a Grand Celebration
: Two Days of Entertainment, Feasting, and Merriment at Laguna Lake Park

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – 11-21-2025 – The Central Coast Renaissance Festival is a cherished local event. It will celebrate its 40th annual festival on July 18 and 19, 2026. The event will take place at the beautiful Laguna Lake Park in San Luis Obispo. The festival invites guests of all ages to step back in time for a weekend of immersive historical entertainment.

To honor its four-decade legacy, the 2026 festival will feature an expanded lineup of attractions. Guests will be taken to a 16th-century village. There, they can cheer for their champion at exciting full-armor battle tournaments. They can also enjoy live performances from Celtic fiddlers and Shakespearean actors.

Additionally, they can explore a marketplace featuring the work of skilled craftspeople. The air will be filled with the tempting smells of Renaissance-inspired food. You can enjoy giant turkey legs and tasty meat pies. There will also be a choice of ales, wine, meads, and ciders.

“This 40th anniversary shows the strong community that has supported us for many years,” said festival organizer Rick Smith. “We’ve poured extra magic into this year’s event to thank our loyal patrons and welcome new ones. “It’s a celebration of art, history, and fun. We can’t wait to raise a goblet with everyone in July.”
