Vendors Must Read This
Dear Vendors,
The 38th Central Coast Renaissance Festival was a tremendous success, thanks in no small part to your participation. We deeply appreciate the effort and dedication you bring to our event.
After the 2024 season, the event coordinators met to evaluate what worked well and identify areas for improvement. While we were very pleased with the quality of our craft and food vendors, some adjustments will be implemented to better align with the event’s theme and enhance its presentation. These are not suggestions but requirements for participation in the 2025 festival.
Key Updates for 2025
Thematic Booths:
All vendor booths—whether pavilions, wooden structures, or pop-ups—must be appropriately covered and adorned to reflect the historical Renaissance theme. Standalone pop-ups will no longer be permitted. If you’re unsure whether your booth meets the standards, please send me a photo for review.
Thematic Attire:
Vendors and their staff must wear costumes that fit the historical theme of the event. Food vendors, particularly those operating food trucks or preparing on-site, are encouraged to incorporate thematic elements into their setup where feasible. Vendors selling prepackaged food must adhere to these thematic presentation requirements.
Food Supply:
Food vendors are expected to stock sufficient quantities to last the entire weekend.
Booth Size and Layout:
When planning your booth, include space for guidelines and back areas. Last-minute location changes may not be accommodated.
Festival Layout:
The festival’s layout will be restructured in 2025 to utilize unused areas of the park. While we will do our best to honor location requests, placements cannot be guaranteed. This year, two dedicated Coordinators will manage the vendor layout, allowing me to focus on the overall theme and presentation of the event.
Vendor applications will close on July 1st. I look forward to reviewing your submissions and welcoming you to another fantastic festival. If you have any questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Warm regards,
Michael Teubner, Vendor Coordinator
