Vendors Must Read This

Vendor Rules

I. Booth & Merchant Standards

  • Booth Aesthetics: All vendors must maintain a booth that is appropriately decorated, and their staff must dress in attire consistent with the event’s theme.
  • Modern Tents: Modern tents are not permitted on the Faire site or in participant parking. They are allowed only in the designated actor’s camp.
  • Application Materials: To be accepted, all vendors must submit a photograph of their booth setup and a representative sample of their merchandise with their application.

II. Food & Merchandise Specifics

  • Food Trucks/Trailers: We will no longer accept food trucks or food trailers.
  • Pricing Transparency: All food vendors must clearly display their prices at the front of their booth. They must stick to these posted prices.
  • Restricted Items: Vendors selling weapons or other sharp objects must display a visible sign stating that customers must be at least 18 years old to handle or purchase such items.
  • Weapon Sales: All sold weapons must be “peace-tied” with zip ties before being handed to the customer.

III. Site Operations & Conduct

  • Check-in & Arrival:
    • Late Saturday Check-in: A late check-in window will be available on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM only. Vendors arriving after this time will not be permitted on the Faire site without a valid wristband.
    • Standardized Times: Arrival and departure times are standardized. Requests for early arrival on Thursday or late departure on Monday are limited. Each request will be looked at individually by one Coordinator, with help from the Vendor Coordinator.
  • Gate Access:
    • Entrance: During Faire hours, all vendor entrances must be through the side gate.
    • Exit: The main gate is to be used only for participant exit.
  • Professional Conduct: Vendors are expected to be courteous to the public, other participants, and festival staff. Should any issues arise, vendors must contact the Vendor Coordinator for resolution rather than handling it themselves.
  • Service Animals: Any service animals must be contained and under the direct supervision of their vendor handler at all times.

IV. Safety Regulations

  • Strict No Smoking/Fire Policy: The prohibition of smoking, vaping, or any open flames will be strictly enforced. This policy includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes and marijuana. No devices that can create a fire are permitted in vendor booths.
